~a year has passed and emmy got her automail surgury done. edward and al went off to seek more info on the philosipher stone. They came back and emmy was sitting by the river bank far away from the rockbells house~

Em:*humming*
Ed:*walks up to Emmy*
Em:*humming* ...? *sees a shadow next to her*
Ed: hey Emmy
Em:*looks up at Edward* hey Ed *smiles*
Ed:*smiles*
Em:*got up**shows him her automail arm* i got it done. *sweatdrop* though the pain is horrible.
Ed: yeah, I know *sweat drops*
Em:*smiles* well...did you find anything interesting?
Ed: no...we couldn't find anything....
Em:i see...*eyes sadden a bit**blushes* well...im glad to see you again. *blushing hard while holding her necklace ed gave her on her birthday*
Ed:*blushes* i'm happy to see you again too*looks at the necklace and smiles*
Em:*blushes smiles* i can see you grown a bit. your still taller than me.
Ed: yeah *sweat drops*
Em:*smiles gently**blushes hard* im glad your back though. *walks up to him and kisses him*

Em:*smiles**hugs him* i miss you
Ed:*smiles*I missed you too
Em:*hugs him**smiles*
ed:*hugs her, smiles*
Em:*looks up at Ed* hey ed? i just got some news from Dr. Marco. a solar eclipse is coming near.
Ed: a solar eclipse?
Em:yeah...im having a feeling something terrible will happen when it starts... *nervous and holding the necklace*
Ed: what ever happens, I promise to keep you safe
Em:Ed...*hugs him* I will do the same thing...
Ed:*hugs her* okay Emmy
Em:*smiles* alright. so wanna spar with me? I want to see how well you fight.
Ed: sure *smiles*
Em:alright *makes a stance* come at me then!
Ed: okay *attacks Emmy with his automail arm*
Em:*blocks his automail arm with hers and then attacks ed*
Ed:*blocks it and counter attacks*
Em:*blocks his move and then tripped and fell on her back* ach! *ed points his automail blade at her*
Ed: you give?
Em:nope! *trips ed and got up but still shaky from being tripped*

Em:thanks. *walks to him but then trips and falls on him* OW! im so sorry ed.
Ed:*in pain* it's alright
Em:*sits up**puts hand on her side* owowow...
Ed: whats wrong? *sits up*
Em:my side hurts. *looks at side**pulls shirt up a little and the side has a big long cut on it and its starting to bleed* not again this wound is not healing like it should.
Ed: we got to heal quickly
Em:yeah *puts hand on bleeding side* ow!
Ed: I will try to heal it up
Em: ok *removed hand from her side so ed can seal it up*
Ed:*claps his hand and seals the wound*
Em: ow! *the wound is sealed* ow. thanks ed. *smiles*
Ed: your welcome Emmy *smiles*
Em:*smiles*

~moments later ed and emmy continuing sparing eachother. then later ling showed up. ed and al met ling while emmy was having her surgery~

Ling: YO! Edward! *waves*
Em:whos that? *worried*
Ed: it's just Ling, nothing to worry about
Em: ok..
Ling: hmm? *looks at emmy* so whos this pretty young lady? your girlfriend Ed?
Em:*blushes*
Ed:*blushes* shut up Ling!!
Ling: *laughs* i can tell just by looking at you guys together! *laughs*
Em:*blushes**hides behind ed*
Ed: do you really want me to punch you?!
Ling: hehe no no. hehe
Em:*blushes**hugs ed from behind*
Ed:*blushes when Emmy hugs him*
Em:*blushes and continues to hug him from behind*
Ling: aw i think i scared her. hehe. its ok i can tell you guys are together.
Ed: okay, but make fun of us and i'll send you to the hospital for a week!!
Ling: ok. *smiles* so anyways you heading somewhere today? I heard a solar eclipse will start in 3 weeks. so i betting that the humunculous might use it for something.
Ed: yeah, I have a bad feeling about it
Em:*still behind ed* what should we do? *said it nervously*
Ed: I don't know, but we have to stop them
Em:*nervous*
Al: *comes out of the house* hey brother! i got something to show you!
Ed: what is it Al?
Al: *shows ed a map**ponts to a mountain* here. I remembered something back when we and scar and mei talked to keilay. Keilay pointed out where the path to her home is.
Em:*eyes widen* so that means...thats...where spirit alchemy was created and born in....is on the other side of that mountain?
Ed: I see..........
Al: yeah. but im right now getting everything ready.
Ling: I'll help to *gose with al in the house to get ready*
Em:*looks at ed noticing something is up* whats wrong Ed? *stares at his amber eyes with her worried hazel green eyes*
Ed: I don't want to see her....
Em:Why not...? *getting a bit worried* why wont you see Keilay?
Ed: I just don't want to*remembering when he and Keilay were arguing and that nobody has a choice**makes a fist*
Em: edward....*places hand on his hand thats making a fist* please tell me. something happen between you and Keilay while i was out. just tell me please...? *getting more worried*
Ed: *sighs* alright, when you were out, Keilay keep saying we don't have a choice, it just gets me mad, we have choices, just because what happened to her wasn't her choice...it doesn't you have to think that you have no choice!!! I have a choice to save you from this Father guy and she think I don't just because she saw the future!!!
Em:*grabs ed by the shoulders*Ed calm down!! *eyes sadden* everyone has a choice and i know it. i know your mad because of what she said theres no choice but.... people cant change what is already there....*eyes sadden more* she said she didnt have a choice to die right away......life is mysterious and we dont know why bad things happen to us......not even alchemist like you know why how this life works.....*eyes hidden by her bangs*
Ed:*calms* your right....
Em:keilay's future prediction is true and thats life. and if im willing to sacrifice myself to save you to continue your journey and beat the father of the humunculous for everyone and my sake, then i will do it!! I will do what ever it takes to fight with you even if it kills me!!
Ed: I don't want to lose you Emmy!!!
Em:I dont want to lose you eaither Ed!!! I want to have a future being with you always!!! I dont want a future where your no longer here anymore!!!
Ed: A-............
Em:*silenced**blushes vary vary hard* uh..............*starts to slowly back away* i-i-i-im sorry.
Ed: no, it's alright
Em:*blushes hard* i just.....i just want to have all of my friends especially you ed to be alive in the end. I dont want to find out you died or anyone else died. Im only saying this cause i care.....i love you Ed and i just wanted you alive in the end. *eyes sadden*
Ed: I love you too Emmy, I don't want you to die.....
Em:*hugs him tight*

Em:*continues to hug him**looks up at him* just try to talk to Keilay for me...please? i know its hard but...just try....at least for me. Ok?

Em:*smiles gently* alright *grabs eds hand**blushes* we should probably get going, but im having a feeling something isnt right when we get there...
Ed: yeah, I have that feeling too
Em:*holds eds hand* well we wont know what will happen when we get there until we do. *smiles at Ed* lets go. Ok?

Em:*thought: i hope the future would keep Ed alive for my sake*

~moments later Alphonse,Ling Yao, Lan fan, Emmy, and Edward now set off towards the abandon mountain pass. The cave was huge like a train can get through though Edward had notice that some transmutation symbols are on the ground in the cave while they walk though inside it.~

Em:its really dark. i can hardly see.
Ed: yeah....

~7 hours later~

Ling: alright lets stop here for today.
Em: ok
Ed: okay

~later when they were about to set up the fire pit emmy notices something on the wall of the cave. The markings started to glow a bit~

Em:wow...*looks around above the cave*
Ed: hm?*looks at Emmy*
Em:Ed look. *points to the ceiling of the cave*

~the lights of the symbol markings started to glow and it looked like a transmutation circles clumped together. They glowed brightly~

Em:its so pretty. *smiles gently**blushes*
Ed: they look like transmutation circles
Em:i think they are. *looks at the center of the ceiling* uh...*eyes possessed**stands up*
Ed:*sighs* not again
Em:*tattoo starts to glow**has hands out and the end of the cave had a shining moonlight coming though**tattoo stops glowing**collapsed*
Ed: Emmy!*runs to her*
Em:*moans in pain*
Ed: Emmy wake up! wake up Emmy!
Em:*wakes up slowly* e....ed....?
Ed: Emmy your awake
Em:*looks up at ed**sits up* ow...i blacked out again didnt i..?
Ed: yeah you did.....
Em:i see...*puts hand on her chest**breaths heavily*
Ed: you alright?
Em:*breaths heavily* m...my heart is racing vary fast...it hurts...
Ed: that isn't good
Em:*breaths heavily* what ever happend....to me....k-keilay told me she has to use me really quick to open the pathway....keilay said that would be the last time she will do that because....my life would drain fast from now on if she dose that again.
Ed: are you sure?
Em:*nods* keilay wants to apologize for it....she cant say it in her spirit form....*feeling sleepy*
Ed: oh, I see......
Em:*getting sleepy*
ed: Emmy? you alright?
Em:just sleepy.... *feeling even more sleepy*

~emmy then falls asleep and collapsed and ed catches her and holds her close while shes asleep~

Em:*sleeping*

~the next morning, everyone continue going on the path to the place where spirit alchemy was born. as they saw the opening of the cave and went threw they saw a giant city~

Ed:...wow
Em: oh my god....
Ling: so this is Krazoha. The giant city where spirit alchemy was born in.

~everyone looked around the city. Ling, Lan fan went on the east of the city while ed, al, and emmy went towards the castle. al was looking around in the hallways and ed follows emmy when she finds a ball room. it was big and emmys tattoo marking was on the floor and on the wall~

Em:wow *walks in room* this place must be the ballroom! its pretty. *smiles*
Ed: yeah *looks at the floor and the walls*
Em:the transmutation circle i have on my back is on the floor and the walls.
Ed: yeah, I wonder why
Em:i think i do know why.....its the crest....its the symbol of this city....
Ed: true
Em:*eyes sadden* i cant believe it......*falls on knees*
Ed: believe what?
Em:i cant believe.....that everyone from this city vanished....they all died....*eyes sadden* this isnt fair....

~then a shadow figure lurks in the shadow and aims a gun at emmy. ed then starts to notice the shadow figure~

Em:*eyes sadden**closes eyes*
Shadow: *about to shoot*
Ed: ! *gets behind Emmy to block the gun shot*
Shadow: *shot ed*
Em:*looks behind her and was shocked what happend* Ed?
Ed: you okay Emmy?
Em:*sees blood coming out of his mouth* yes but are you ok? *still in shock*
Ed: dont worry, its just a shot, it will heal
Em:but ed....*went in front of him and sees he got shot in the chest**eyes sadden deep and ed looks at her sadden eyes*
Ed: don't worry Emmy, if I didn't do it, you could have been killed....
Em:*eyes sadden deep* I know that.....but i want you to be ok....

~then ed breaths heavily because of the shot wound in his chest~

Ed:......
Em:Ed..? *starts to get worried* are you ok..?
Ed: yeah *tries to smile*
Em:*smiles sadly**holds his hand* I'll go get Al. stay here ok? *walks off*
Ed: okay
Em:*in the hallway* AL!?
Al: *coming out of hallway* Emmy? what is it?
Em:I need your help!! Edward is Injured!
Ed:......

~Al and emmy went back in the room with ed then ed collapsed~

Em:Ed? Ed?! *runs to him* Ed?! are you ok?!
Al: brother! *next to emmy*
Ed:.....
Em:Ed?! answer me!! ED!!!!! *cries*
Ed:*died*
Em:*felt his heart stopped** terrified**cries* ED!!!!!
